The emergency phones are on service on a 24/7 basis. The short numbers consisting of 3 digits are always free. For other numbers, there is a regular telephone tariff fee which is usually paid.

112 Emergency Helpline

This number helps you to reach the police emergency centre. According to the emergency you have encountered, the police further inform other locations, for example, in any fire hazard – the fire department.

This number connects you to the fire station’s staff members.

With this number, you can reach the lifeguard centre.

You should dial this number only when you seek emergency assistance or need an ambulance when you cannot comprehend the next scene of the situation. For example, you can dial 144 after an accident.

For other casual health problems, you should first refer to a family physician as a prerequisite. There is also always an emergency room service for several family physicians other than their working hours.

With this number, you can find out which pharmacy is on duty in 1000 districts of Turkey. You can also ask for the medicine available outside of working hours.

Emergency Dentistry Service 0848 261 261

Upon contacting this number, you can find out which dentist will provide emergency services in the canton of Aargau. Note: you can dial this number only on weekends or public holidays.

Poisoning Emergency Phone Number 145

If any person has ingested something poisonous or suspects that he performed this action, he can dial this number. The doctors and experts available on these lines explain what should you do in case of poisoning. However, in life-threatening situations, you should immediately dial emergency line 144.

Anyone suffering from crisis, or facing any problem, can reach out to this platform. There is nothing to worry about identity revealing as the interview remains reliable and confidential.

This service is available in Italian, German, and French languages. The children or teenagers who realize the need to talk to someone about any problem can use this hotline. They can connect to the experts 24 hours a day. Those who don’t prefer a call can contact the experts by email or chat as well. This service is open to deal all concerns, problems, or crises.

Parent Emergency Helpline 0848 35 45 55

As a parent or a concerned person, you can contact the experts, share your problem with them. The expert will provide you with valuable advice on parenthood or about raising children. If any person finds himself unable to resolve his issues with his children, or there are chances of the situation getting exponentially severe, take the help of Parent Emergency Helpline. Any concerned person can use this line either for his children or any other child.

Reach this emergency line if you suspect that your or another child is facing psychologically or physically abuse. All interviews are confidential and confidential on request (anonymous). Contacting via mail or chat is also possible.

This helpline is specific to the issues mentioned above and cannot help with health-related matters.

This line provides 24-hour counselling and support for women and victims of domestic abuse. Apart from the victim, her family members and specialist people can also contact this number. Again, the interviews remain confidential or confidential on request (anonymous).

You can contact this number for getting information or the latest update about your lost ID card or e-ikamet Residence permit application in progress.

The foreigners can ask any query. For example, issues on Visa and entrance to Turkey, Residence permit, International protection and Temporary protection and get the answers. This line also provides continuous service for identifying the victims of human trafficking and rescue operations in Turkey. It also facilitates life-saving service for the foreigners who became victims of migrant smuggling at sea.

This hotline has successfully dealt with over 1 million questions asked and answered.

YIMER 157 is a service available in 6 languages for all foreigners living in Turkey, continuous for 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

ALO 199 is another helpful hotline that gives information about Turkish National ID, Turkish driver’s license, lost ID card, or an update about the progress of the application of e-Passport.

Foreigners can contact this number to ask about any query on the Biometric Passport transactions in Turkey, Turkish Identity Card and Turkish Driver License.
