Bangladeshi Guide To Get Turkey E-visa
Turkey and Bangladesh are two of the major countries whose population is more than ninety percent Islamic. With the similarities of their traditions and religion, Turkish and Bangladeshi have accomplished many projects together. Turkey preserved its historical heritage through the years. The unique and sacred Islamic places have been the go-to destination of foreigners around the globe. Up to date, there are almost a hundred thousand mosques in Turkey. Bangladesh citizens can immerse themselves with the likeness of their culture with the locals. Through this section, Bangladeshi will have a fair knowledge about Turkish e-Visa.
Bangladesh citizens can qualify for Turkish e-Visa if they meet these conditions:
- Bangladesh nationals are under conditional e-Visa, wherein they should be a member of Schengen country or has a resident permit to the UK, USA, or Ireland to qualify for single-entry.
- Turkish Immigration only requires a visa for ordinary passport holders. Diplomatic and official passport holders get exempted
- Hotel reservation and proof of income stability are part of the supporting documents (not yet needed during the online application)
When the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched the electronic visa system, the acquisition of travel authorization to Turkey became easier. This process mitigates and simplifies the visa application of eligible nationals under certain conditions. About this, Bangladesh citizens can get their visas online with a minimum requirement. Going to an embassy interview and signing a pile of paperwork is no longer necessary. By visiting the Turkish commercial website, Bangladeshi applicants can complete the online form.
Immigration recommends applying for a Turkish e-Visa at least 30 min before the intended travel date. It is to give leeway in case a discrepancy occurs.
During the application, they should have the following:
- A valid passport (at least six months)
- A valid email address (the system sends a notification about the status and confirmation of visa application)
- Payment for the visa fee (aside from credit card and debit card, a few payment channels are available on the website)
The online application is solely for tourism and business activities. Visa requirements for employment, educational and long-term residence in Turkey need approval from the Turkish embassy.
Turkish e-Visa has a 180 days validity period, and travelers must use it before it expires. Bangladesh citizens will have 30 days to tour or do their business activities in Turkey. Thirty days duration will start on the day they arrive in the country. Bangladeshi travelers should download and print their visas and present all their documents to border control authorities. Inaccurate, incorrect, and incomplete information on the requirements will lead to invalid entry.
Bangladesh nationals are ineligible for on-arrival visas. Transfer and transit passengers are not required to have one if they intend to stay no longer than 72 hours.
Travel Advisory: Effective from December 29, 2020, passengers six years old and above will have to go through the SARS‑COV‑2 PCR test. Bangladesh travelers should present a negative result within 72 hours before they depart from their respective countries. They also have to sign a “Traveller Entry Form.”
