Detailed Tourist Information
The Turkish government does not prohibit any nationalities from entering Turkey based on citizenship. However, restrictions on entry are based on the departure point.
Most international tourists can travel to Turkey either visa-free or, for those who meet the requirements, with an eVisa.
However, individuals from certain countries, including Algeria, Cuba, Guyana, Kiribati, Laos, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, North Korea, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, South Sudan, Syria, Tonga, and Tuvalu, must obtain a conventional sticker visa from a Turkish embassy to enter the country.
Turkey accepts all COVID-19 vaccines when it comes to international travelers. There is no requirement for travelers to have any specific type of COVID-19 vaccination.
Upon arrival in Turkey, passengers and airline crew will undergo a brief medical check, including temperature controls. Those who do not display any symptoms can continue their journey.
All incoming passengers aged 6 and above must complete a "Traveler Entry Form" at least four days before their arrival in Turkey. Children under 6 are exempt from this requirement. The purpose of this form is to facilitate contact tracing for individuals who have been in contact with someone who later tested positive for COVID-19. The form must be completed online and presented before boarding a flight to Turkey and again upon arrival.
