transit through Turkey

By AVETISYAN TAMARA

Hello. I'm an Armenian citizen. For October, I have a flight booked directly from Istanbul to Cairo. If I enter Turkey 48 hours before my flight, do I need to apply for an e-visa or a transit visa to go out of the airport and explore the city for less than 48 hours? I saw this article on your website that says that
"For Armenians transiting through Turkey, the visa is unessential. Turkey will allow transit passengers to stay within their borders for up to 48 hours. Armenians can also enter through road borders with the same requirements as foreign nationals".
Does this mean that I dont need to apply for visa ?
Please help me understand what I'm supposed to do

Residency/ Nomad visa

By Rebekah Jones

Hello, my husband and I are hoping to come and live in Turkey for 1-5 years possibly longer.
We own and run a company here in the UK that we can run remotely. So all our income is from our limited company of which we are directors and employees. I have read that we could get a residency permit of up to 2 years with the possibility of extension and work remotely as our work is outside of Turkey. Is this right please?
Also, I'm assuming as we'd be living in Turkey full time (more than 183 days a year) we would be tax residents. Could you please explain how we would be taxed? For example would we be taxed on our wages, dividends of business and rental income which all come from the UK please? What is the tax rate? I understand you have a double tax treaty with the UK to prevent double taxation?
Also, we thought that initially we could apply for a digital nomad visa, but neither me nor my husband have a university degree, so does that totally disqualify us for that visa despite having our own business we can run remotely from Turkey please?
Thanks for your help in gathering this info. Your answers will help us decide if Turkey is an option for us.
